How long does it take for the gel bottle to approve certification? ›

If you are a professional, please create an account on our website and upload your certificate. Your account should be approved for “Pro” status within 10 minutes of uploading the document (during business normal hours). After that you will be able to add our gel nail polishes to your cart.

How does the gel bottle BIAB work? ›

BIAB can be used as a base coat, meaning it goes straight onto the nail bed and bonds to it under UV or LED curing, effectively adding another layer to the nail to strengthen it. We can even use two to three coats on weaker nails, which can make the nail virtually indestructible!

How long does gel base coat last in the bottle? ›

Regular nail polish lasts for around 18 to 24 months on average, whereas gel nail polish lasts for around 24 to 36 months, with unopened bottles lasting the longest.

How long does it take to cure a gel bottle? ›

Curing times: 60 seconds for 2in1 base, colours and extreme shine top coat. Cure Rubber Base, Builder in a Bottle and Rubber top on low heat mode - press the low heat button for 0.5secs (curing power starts at 36w then increases to 48w, lasts 99 seconds). Low heat mode will minimise occurrence of heat spikes.

Does The Gel Bottle damage nails? ›

Correct application of a suitable gel by an experienced gel nail technician, will never leave your natural nails damaged. The damage is usually caused by the person wearing them by peeling them off or breaking them!

Do you need a base coat for builder gel The gel bottle? ›

Requires BASE COAT - we recommend to use Rubber Base; No chipping or lifting, which helps grow natural nails; Advised to be infilled, not soaked-off; Can be left nude or finished with gel colour.

How do I stop my BIAB from lifting? ›

If your BIAB nails keep lifting, there are a few things you can do to fix this. Remember to remove all the cuticles on the nail plate (sometimes it is not visible). Use a cuticle pusher, then buff away the rest with a nail file.

Do you use base coat with gel bottle BIAB? ›

BIAB™ does not require base as it includes Rubber Base within its formula - however if you purchase CLEAR or WHITE BIAB™ this requires Rubber Base underneath.

Can you do two coats of gel base coat? ›

Tip 1- Apply 2 Thin Coats

There are multiple reasons to add aa second coat of base. The main reason is that it adds flexibility to the nail. It also helps for the color gel to adhere to the nail, creating a perfect finish overall.

Why does my gel base coat peel off? ›

#1 The gel polish is coming off because it has been cured too short (or too long) Before starting your manicure, read the instructions carefully. Make sure you know how long the gel polish should be cured under the LED lamp. If the gel polish cures too short or too long, the layer on top of it will not adhere properly.

Entry Requirements

To do this course you will need to be already qualified in gel polish and wanting to learn and qualify in BIAB (builder in a bottle). It will provide you with all the necessary skills needed and an industry recognised qualification. Gel polish qualification required.

How many coats of builder gel do you apply? ›

Apply the second layer of Builder Gel and cure for 60 seconds. Repeat this up to 4 times to achieve desired length and thickness.

Can I put builder gel on weak nails? ›

You can apply builder gel to either natural nails for a non-chip overlay, or use it with nail tips to create extensions or enhancements. It's much stronger than regular gel polish base coats, and the formula is a much thicker consistency to a normal base coat.

How many layers of builder gel can you use? ›

Ensure you are not applying the Builder Base too thick. 2-3 layers is best over 1 thick layer. 3. Ensure the clients nails are healthy and not damaged or too thin.
